Straight shank tool holder extension is a great complement to the shrink fit program. Caution is required, however, as a
permanent damage and wrapping can occur due to the overheating of the slim design. The life cycle of the tool holders
will be drastically reduced id the activating heat is not controlled.
Due to the nature of the slim line design, only a limited number of heat shrinks can be activated. Experience has shown
that over 300 heat shrink can be performed with the straight shank extensions when the activation heat has been
controlled at less than 800 Deg.F (426 Deg.C)
